July 19, 2008 - RSI Team Volunteer Recognition Event

In honor of your dedication to Texas Stream Team (formerly Texas Watch) and Aquarena Center, please join us on Saturday, July 19, for the River Systems Institute’s 2008 Volunteer Recognition Event! You and your family are invited to participate in a fun day of free activities, lunch, and a special recognition ceremony at Aquarena Center in San Marcos, followed by optional recreational activities in and around the beautiful San Marcos River.

Take a guided tour of Aquarena Center … Explore the Spring Lake environs on a guided nature tour … Traverse the lake itself on a guided canoe tour … Ride the famous Aquarena glass bottom boats … Spend a leisurely afternoon tubing on the San Marcos River! A detailed schedule of all these events and more can be found on the attached Reservation Form. But most of all… come, meet others, and let us recognize all of you for your ongoing efforts in protecting the water resources of Texas!

Space for some activities is limited, so please fill out and return the Reservation Form below (one form per family or group) by July 10.  An activity location map is also available for download below.
