Texas State University’s 3rd Annual Aquarena Earth Day Celebration was held at Spring Lake on Saturday, April 25th, and for the first time, was combined with the Indigenous Cultures Institute Festival “Songs of the Seven Winds” and the annual Texas State University Geography Reunion. Compared to the previous years, this year’s festival was the largest and most successful with an estimated 2500 people in attendance. more...

This past January, was the very first time Aquarena hosted a Diving for Science Recognition Ceremony. At this ceremony, all scuba divers that went through the Diving for Science Program in the year 2008 were recognized and received certificates. (continued)
