Due to Spring Lake being declared critical habitat to 8 listed endangered and threatened species, recreational use of the lake is restricted by Federal, State and local laws. However, Aquarena has an excellent Diving for Science Program which offers certified scuba divers an opportunity to assist in the conservation and preservation of the San Marcos Springs as a volunteer. Individuals wanting to participate in this program must complete the Diving For Science Authorization Course offered monthly at Aquarena . For Information and dates Contact us Now.
